During our Regent Seven Seas Mariner ship visit we dined at Compass Rose restaurant. As the main restaurant on board, the menu is varied and suits all tastes. The layout is designed so that each section feels like its own restaurant, smaller and more intimate than one large dining room. The colour palette is fresh white with features of cobalt blue, creating a bright airy atmosphere.

We began our lunch with poached Maine lobster medallions served with marinated melon, hearts of palm, lobster salad and mango passion fruit glace. Next was coconut butternut squash soup with cilantro oil. For main course we ate beautiful pan-fried Chilean Sea Bass, paired with a delicious white wine. Our meal was complete with chocolate cheesecake infused with dry Irish stout, drizzled with raspberry coulis.
