Cape Town: Bo Kaap

Written on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 by Cape Town: Bo Kaap

Nestled in the fold of Signal Hill lies Cape Town’s Malay quarter: Bo Kaap. Follow the cobblestoned streets past vibrantly painted colourful houses to authentic and delicious Malay cuisine. Aromatic stews, curries and soups await the taste-buds in this unique setting, dating back to the seventeenth century.

We recommend a Panang Curry, followed by a visit to the excellent museum and Auwal Mosque, the first in South Africa. With all that leisurely strolling you might be able to justify finding yet another fantastic restaurant and eat again!
