These colourful mosaic tiled steps are located in the heart of Rio’s famous Copacabana district. We were on a day trip that encompassed not only all the ‘must see’ attractions of this vibrant city but also took us to some wonderful local and tucked away places you just wouldn’t find without an expert local guide. After a day of exploring Ipanema, Sugarloaf Mountain, The Favelas, Christ The Redeemer, Santa Teresa and everywhere in-between, sipping a Caipirinha at sunset on the beach proved the perfect end to a perfect day.
