Thai Elephant Experience in Chiang Mai
The show they put on at Chiang Mai’s elephant conservation centre was amazing! Its astonishing just how clever these animals are and so when they asked for a member of the audience to join in for a game of catch, my excited waves proved too much to ignore! Along with demonstrations of the elephants painting, washing and the cutest baby elephant I’ve ever seen, there was a strong message of conservation and respect. It was nice to know that along with entertaining awestruck tourists such as myself, the animals were treated well and the money made goes into protecting the elephants and their habitat for future generations to enjoy as much as I did.
