Dunedin Wildlife Cruise
We met Rachel, the owner/operator of Port to Port Cruises at Dunedin Harbour for our Cruise & Wildlife Tour. Once onboard we sat in the heated cabin armed with binoculars & learnt about Otago Harbour, Maori History & the wildlife that call this place home. The Albatross is what this area is famous for and we were all so excited when we spotted one, then another, then another. To watch them fly gracefully around our boat & float over choppy swell was such an experience. We felt so lucky to see some dolphins swimming along side our boat. Rachel had a very keen eye & could spot and identify birds & sea life before we could even see them. Seals, penguins & a wide variety of sea birds topped off a memorable 2-hour cruise. I would highly recommend for any animal lover!
