Cape Town’s Wine Region
Where the surf pounded coast meets the undulating hills of the southern cape’s ranges, for generations people have taken advantage of the temperate and beautiful climate to produce some of the worlds finest wines. Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are both a short drive from Cape Town, are home to a number of fine wineries, offering tastings, gourmet dishes, great hospitality and picturesque views.
It’s lovely being able to sit back, sample a glass of the local variety and gaze out at burgeoning vines, lush valleys and the surrounding mountain ranges. The townships offer a range of beautiful accommodation options, giving you time to truly immerse yourself and enjoy this stunning region…and of course the wine!
