Bali – Aqua Land & Bali Wake Park Family Fun

Written on Sunday, January 13, 2019 by Aqua Land and Bali Wake Park

On a recent trip to Bali with some friends and their teenage boys we discovered Aqua Land and the Bali Wake Park in Benoa. Entertaining teens can be tricky, younger kids love a kids club but the young teens are a little harder to please so it’s good that Bali is creating entertainment for all ages.

The Wake Park features state-of-the-art full-size cable systems built around a 5-hectare lake and offers so many options to teach you how to water ski and wakeboard. If you’re not up for the challenge there is a café restaurant with food and drinks all day and a front row seat to watch the fun.

Aqua Land is a new addition, for those who may remember the 70’s show ‘Almost Anything Goes’ or more recently ‘Wipe Out’ then you will love this. The aqua park craze has taken the world of water by storm, consisting of a floating playground with inflatables over 8 meters high and fantastic obstacles for you to jump over, slide down and run through – like Wipeout, except less embarrassing and more fun! It’s an obstacle course on over water floats. It’s really hard but a lot of fun for all ages.  It’s a great work out and you can run competitions with your family and friends, great way to spend the day. Next to it is a swim up pool bar so you can relax over a drink before you give the skiing a go.

Entry prices, food and drinks are reasonable and taxi’s in Bali are accessible and affordable so it’s an inexpensive day out for all the family.
