The Magic of Uluru

There is something deeply captivating about Uluru, a landscape that seems to change with every shift of light. From the quiet of the pre-dawn desert to the rich colours of sunset and a night sky filled with stars, each time of day reveals a different side to this remarkable place.

But the experience extends well beyond the rock itself. Around the base of Uluru, guided walks reveal ancient rock art, waterholes and the cultural stories connected to the landscape, while nearby Kata Tjuta rises from the desert in a series of striking red-hued domes. Walk into Walpa Gorge, surrounded by towering rock walls and a landscape that provides refuge for native plants and wildlife.

Some of the most memorable moments come as the light begins to fade. Watch the colours of Kata Tjuta transform over sunset drinks and canapés, dine beneath the outback sky at Sounds of Silence, and wander through the Field of Light as more than 50,000 tiny lights illuminate the desert floor beneath Uluru.

There is also time simply to enjoy being here. Relax at Sails in the Desert, discover local experiences or venture further with optional touring, from Kings Canyon and scenic flights to camel rides and cycling around Uluru
